Sustainable Builders llc is a residential and commercial construction company first and foremost. Though we offer many "value-added" services to our clients, we know that building a quality home is the primary reason clients hire us. We can work with your designer, supplied plans, or create a design-build package for:

As a company we have decades of experience in residential and commercial construction. My dedication to green and sustainable building in the greater Taos area began 19 years ago when I built my first 100% off grid home for myself and saw first hand what was possible. Homes do not need to be the resource squandering buildings that are the norm today. Buildings also do not need to look outlandish to perform exceptionally well, traditional style does not rule out exceptional green characteristics. Of course if a whimsical style is your inspiration that is fun to build as well.
Building science and materials technology has advanced greatly in the last couple of decades as consumers have driven the market to create better performing homes that are better for the inhabitants and the environment. I believe that in order for us to reshape how homes are built we need to offer our clients homes that vastly out perform their conventional counterparts, meet clients' aesthetics and design goals, for an affordable price.
